Since 1985, Plant Sciences has served the agricultural research and consulting needs of national and international clients. Our qualified scientists and staff represent a broad base of experience and capability over a diverse range of research projects.
From humble beginnings in a home office and lab facility twenty years ago, Plant Sciences has emerged as a premier agricultural research company with a multinational clientele. Today, the company has expanded to multiple departments in four main locations: a primary research center in Watsonville, nursery plant propagation facilities in Macdoel and Manteca, and a satellite research and development office in San Marcos.
Founder and President Richard D. Nelson, Ph.D., continues to develop his long-term vision of pursuing excellence in agricultural research and consultation. With the strong contributions of our scientists and support staff, Plant Sciences, Inc. continues to live out their mission, and it is evident that the best is yet to come.
