From humble beginnings in a home office and lab facility in 1985, Plant Sciences, Inc. has emerged as a premier agricultural research company with a multinational clientele. Plant Sciences, Inc. is committed to research and development in many areas including plant breeding, plant tissue culture, seed production, crop growing techniques, and pest management.
Plant Sciences, Inc. has served the agricultural research and consulting needs of national and international clients for more than 25 years. Our experience has proven that long-term loyalty and commitment are vital in today’s competitive markets. We seek to develop a strong mutual trust, and to conduct the business of each client with confidentiality and technical excellence.
After twenty-six years, the company has expanded to multiple departments in three main locations: a primary research center in Watsonville, California and nursery plant propagation facilities in Macdoel, California and Manteca, California. Our research facilities include state-of-the-art laboratories, greenhouses, and research farms. These facilities, combined with up-to-date equipment and technical information, enable us to perform efficiently and effectively. Plant Sciences, Inc. has demonstrated its dedication to providing products and services that enable our clients to maintain a competitive advantage in an increasingly demanding world marketplace. In order to further strengthen our products and services, we have formed alliances with many of the world’s leading agricultural companies.
Founder and President Richard D. Nelson, Ph.D., continues to develop his long-term vision of pursuing excellence in agricultural research and consultation. With the strong contributions of its scientists and support staff, Plant Sciences, Inc. continues to serve the global agricultural community with the highest level of integrity possible.
